New projects for Tangram

We’ve been working hard up and down the country, dedicated to shaping vibrant, inclusive places and bringing to life strategic visions for Council’s, cultural venues and organisations. We’ve recently started working with Hull City Council on their Children and Young People's Culture & Heritage Plan as well as continuing our work with Camden Council to evaluate their ambitious 2026–2031 cultural strategy. We are also proud to be helping shape Birkenhead's bold bid for UK Town of Culture 2028 and leading the community consultation for the Barbican Centre's iconic Sculpture Court transformation. Across all our projects, we bridge the gap between heritage, culture, and community to help places thrive and ensure cultural spaces can be enjoyed by everyone.

Hull City Council

We are thrilled to be appointed by Hull City Council to develop a new Children and Young People’s Culture & Heritage Plan. By centering the feedback of over 9,000 children and young people, this plan will map existing cultural provisions and build stronger cross-sector connections from early years right through to career pathways.

Camden Council

We are partnering with Camden Council to evaluate the impact of their ambitious Love Camden Cultural Strategy 2026–2031. It is a privilege for our team to help measure the success of this community-led roadmap, which is designed to embed inclusive arts and creativity across local neighbourhoods.

Birkenhead UK Town of Culture 2028

We are excited to join the bid team campaigning to make Birkenhead the UK Town of Culture for 2028. Working closely with Future Yard CIC and the wider cultural community, we are helping shape a compelling bid that elevates local voices and celebrates the town's distinctive creative spirit.

Barbican Centre

Tangram is leading the community engagement for the next chapter of the Barbican Centre’s Sculpture Court transformation. Supported by development funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, we will be collaborating with local communities, young people, and stakeholders to ensure this iconic space becomes greener, more accessible, and welcoming for years to come.
